WHY ROCKETROOTS

Curiosity is where engineering begins.

Curiosity is where engineering begins.

Curiosity is where engineering begins.

Rockets and spacecraft can look incredibly complicated. But every engineer starts by asking questions, understanding the basics, experimenting, and building. RocketRoots is a place to begin.

Three ways to start your journey.

Three ways to start your journey.

01 / EXPLORE

Understand how aerospace works.

Understand how aerospace works.

Start with the ideas behind rockets, aircraft, spacecraft, and space exploration.

02 / BUILD

Try real engineering challenges.

Try real engineering challenges.

Explore motion, propulsion, and design with hands-on activities using simple materials.

03 / GO BEYOND

See where curiosity can lead.

MEET THE FOUNDER

Santiago Ledezma

Santiago “Santi” Ledezma is a 17-year-old high school student in Texas with a growing passion for aerospace engineering and space exploration. RocketRoots started from his own curiosity about rockets, spacecraft, and how engineering can help us explore beyond Earth. As he learns, experiments, and prepares to study aerospace engineering, Santi is building RocketRoots to share that curiosity with younger students and help them discover that their own journey into aerospace can start now.
